Defending A Claim
In most cases, it will be necessary for your employees to have been continuously employed by you or your organisation for at least one year before they are eligible to make a claim in an employment tribunal. Once they have completed a year’s service, you employer must have a legitimate reason to terminate their employment UNFAIR DISMISSAL.
However, there are some circumstances where they do not require to have accrued a year’s service AUTOMATIC UNFAIR DISMISSAL.
If an employee alleges that they have been subjected to discrimination, then again, you they not require any qualifying service to bring a claim in an employment tribunal DISCRIMINATION.
