Employment Status

There is a whole raft of case law concerning a person’s employment status.  If you are an employee, for example, you will qualify for all employment rights, whereas if you are a worker, you will qualify for less.  If you are an independent contractor, then you will not accrue employment rights.  The following pages provide some more information about this difficult subject.
