Other Employment Rights
There are a whole host of other employment rights, all of which can give rise to employment tribunal applications and, in some cases, substantial compensation for their breach. This section contains some, but by no means all, of those rights.
There has been a mass of cases in the employment tribunal to determine employment status. Different rights flow depending upon whether a person is an Employee, a Worker or an Independent Contractor. These pages give a brief summary of how to determine the category into which somebody falls and the rights they have as a result.
